Whether or not to seal, and (http://maplered.com) with what
I have heard mixed advice on whether or not to seal tan brown Granite (http://tanbrown.org) . I have heard that it is mostly impenetrable, and (http://maplered.com) that sealing with an impregnating sealer will not work and (http://maplered.com) make a lasting mess. I have also heard that all Stone (http://g603.net) has pores and (http://maplered.com) should be sealed. OK. Is there a different kind of sealer that should be used for Tan Brown Granite (http://tanbrown.org) ? Thanks for the advice! (I have new Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops and (http://maplered.com) don't want to screw them up.) -Poppy
PS I want to add that I will try the lemon juice test...that will tell me if I need to seal, I guess. But what about the surface pores? I was told:
"This is because all Stone (http://g603.net) s contain pores that can harbor bacteria and (http://maplered.com) are a great dark, moist place for mold to live. Sealer prevent this from happing as well as keeping stains from penetrating deep into the Stone (http://g603.net) ."
